Carioca Club Champs Round 1 of 2 - 13/14 February 2010

Round one of the Carioca Club Champs was a hugely successful and exciting event with 12 boats sailing and in excess of 36 sailors aboard until the first mutiny from one of the competing yachts. After a knockdown coming up to the finish of the first race on Sunday morning, just after crossing the finish line, one of the crew dived over the stern and swam for shore where he enjoyed the last two races from the comfort of the front lawn. Conditions were variable with lots of heavy gusts, shifts and some very light conditions too. The sun was out most of the weekend! Well done to Brian James and his crew who sailed faultlessly.
